Delivered by Mike Cheetham, Partner at RSM UK Risk Assurance Services LLP, this session will cover key aspects of the handbook and how it supports ITPs in financial management and governance.
About the Financial Handbook for ITPs
The handbook, introduced by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) on 1 August 2024, provides guidance to Independent Training Providers. Its main objectives are:
- Setting out good practice
- Making requirements clearer for providers
- Supporting ITPs with financial management and governance
- Requiring or recommending specific arrangements to be in place
