Provider Networks Community of Practice Launched

The Devon & Cornwall Training Providers Network (DCTPN) is excited to announce the launch of a new initiative founded by the Network’s CEO, Sharron Robbie, in partnership with Alex Miles, Charlotte Jones and Sue Taylor – the Provider Networks of Community of Practice (CoP).

We have launched this national programme of collaboration to bring together different insights into the further education, skills and employability sectors from across the country and, as a CoP, we will be joining forces on themed topics or subject matters in order to share approaches, develop unity and celebrate how regional networks support their training provider members.

The initiative is open to all regional provider networks across the country, and we are keen to get as many networks involved as possible – there will be opportunities for regional groups to ‘twin’ or ‘buddy up’ with each other from different parts of the country or around thematic viewpoints!

Partnership working is already up and running, with the DCTPN’s CEO working with Alex Miles from the Yorkshire Learning Partnership on a piece of DfE research. Alex will be visiting the SW soon to commence a review into coastal area responses to regional educational, LSIP and devolution with Sharron. Watch this space!

Our work will be shared and promoted across our members, MCA’s, LA’s and stakeholders and we’re keen to work with partners and sponsors for each of the themes!
