Fiona joined the DCTPN as a co-opted member in October 2016. Since then she has been formally elected as a full Director at the January 2017 DCTPN AGM.

Currently working at City College Plymouth, as Head of Partnerships, Fiona leads a forward thinking, strategic team, supporting the College in realising its strategic aims and objectives. She is a proactive leader with experience in establishing and managing a number of large-scale projects concurrently, on-time and on-budget across Europe and worldwide.

Fiona has delivered projects working in partnership with networks, local authority, LEPs, Colleges and Training Providers, Employers and Community Groups. Notable recent successes include:

  • Funding to support and build the brand new, £13.5million, 5 storey STEM building at City College Plymouth, opening September 2017
  • Application and approval from Department of Education to set up Plymouth Studio School – brand new school for 14 – 18 year olds wanting to study Tourism, Hospitality and Sport
  • Development and leading on International projects with a focus on training around the topics of: Dementia care in China, Train the Trainer in food processing and hospitality in India, Social Enterprise in Sweden, The Netherlands and Germany
  • Partnership and local growth development with Advanced Manufacturing Sector and Marine Engineering sector in Plymouth

Fiona brings to the DCTPN Board a wealth of key business strategy knowledge, partnership opportunities and bid writing skills.
