New members welcomed into the Devon & Cornwall Training Providers Network

The New Year starts with membership continuing to grow for the Devon & Cornwall Training Providers Network, with two new organisations being welcomed into the DCTPN.

Elevate-EPA and Complete Training (part of The Inclusivity Group) join the network at a time when the FE sector is gearing up for real change. New initiatives to support more young people into apprenticeships via Foundation Apprenticeships, and the introduction of greater flex for large employers around the training they can fund via their levy spend are just two of the changes that are potentially transformational.

Both organisations have a wealth of experience within the post-16 education, training and skills sector, with Complete Training offering more than 120 CPD approved short courses and over 70 in-person courses, including specialist training that supports the deaf and those with disabilities.

Elevate-EPA is an Ofqual-recognised end-point assessment organisation (EPAO), and brings a wealth of experience and expertise in assessment design and delivery.

Mel Feek, Managing Director at Elevate-EPA, said: “We’re thrilled to join the Devon and Cornwall Training Providers Network and connect with others across the South West. At Elevate, we believe in the value of sharing ideas and working together to achieve the best outcomes for apprentices.

“As an EPAO, we’re here to offer support and insights to training providers as they navigate the EPA process, and we’re always open to sharing our expertise where it’s helpful. We’d also love to hear from members about the areas of knowledge sharing they feel would be most valuable, so we can contribute in ways that truly make a difference to the network.”

Maria Woodger, Vice Chair, DCTPN, said: “The continued growth of the network is vital in ensuring that we remain relevant, and truly representative of the post-16 skills and training landscape across the SW.

“We are thrilled to welcome Daryl McMullan (Complete Training) and Mel Feek (Elevate-EPA) and their teams to the network, and look forward to working with them over the coming year. We recognise how both Elevate-EPA and Complete Training will enhance the current membership, adding additional sector expertise and training provision to an already vibrant and proactive network of education insiders.”

Daryl McMullan, CEO of Complete Training, Part of The Inclusivity Group, said: “For us at Complete Training, being part of DCTPN was a simple decision. We are massively passionate about access, inclusion and providing high-quality practical and training services, so joining a network of like-minded individuals and businesses where we can share best practices and work in partnership to influence the sector aligns with our values as an organisation.

“We are excited to be involved and look forward to meeting fellow members and sharing our work at Complete Training and our parent company, The Inclusivity Group.”
